Portland Photo Production: Intel Robotics w/ Kids

Buck photographer Boone Rodriguez got a call from Manifesto requesting a shoot to capture kids working with Intel‘s school robotics program.  Boone and I worked with the client to cast the talent from Option Model and Media, and coordinated our locations.  We shot at ADX, a shared workshop for creatives, and a local Portland elementary school.  We built out the crafty table ourselves, and had lunch catered by Chipotle (a crowd favorite, especially with the kiddos).  MUAH was by Kylie Sallee, styling by the wonderful Pauline Kim, and prop styling by our go-to, miss Karyn Fiebich.  Two of our favorite collaborators Braden Spotts and Michael Spear filled out our crew as photo assist and PA respectively.  Pre-production planning and hiring a great crew are two imperatives for a smooth shoot day, and we ran a tight ship on this project.
